Changing Your Internet Connection When you change your internet connection, do not change your email settings. Ignore any email information that your new connection provider offers. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR BorderWeb.Net EMAIL SETTINGS TO BE DELETED BY YOUR CONNECTION PROVIDER'S TECH SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES. Configure only the new connection. New phone numbers for dial-up. New network settings for Wireless, Cable, or DSL. Leave your BorderWeb.Net email settings as they are, and they will continue to work without interruption.
Other Tips Save time, bandwidth, and money. Don't use your email account as a storage. Keep your mail box cleaned out. Always set your email program to download your mail, and delete the files from the server, after your mail has been received. This way, you avoid leaving unnecessary copies of sensitive emails and personal information out in cyber space.
