Here's the deal,  If I have time, I'll come out and talk with you about what you need.  If we go longer than an hour, I may charge you a little bit for it... $30 an hour or so. If I am giving you a bid on something, the consultation  won't cost you anything at all. If I know of another company who has more expertise in the kind of work you need, I'll refer you to them. If you consult with me, and then try and do it yourself, it will cost you more to get you out of your mess than you'd have spent having the work done. I am not a money hungry SOB. I have a different motivation. My work is solid, my prices are often surprisingly low. Sometimes I have a waiting list. It comes with the territory.
